Avoid Fraudulent Recruitment Scams

It has come to our attention that fraudulent recruitment scams may be conducted by individuals or organizations claiming to represent The Raymond Corporation. This type of fraud tends to occur through online services including bogus websites, online job boards, or through unsolicited “phishing” emails. The aim of the fraud is to mislead you into believing you are applying for and/or obtaining employment with The Raymond Corporation, in order for the scammers to obtain your personal information, such as banking information, or direct payments of money.

Scammers may attempt to extract money for processing job applications or costs related to "work permits", or interview travel expenses. In other cases, candidates may be asked for bank account information or direct payments to secure interviews or guarantee employment. Often using a company logo and with personal details taken from social networking pages, these communications may appear as genuine offers of employment or invitations to interview for positions with The Raymond Corporation.  However, a close examination may reveal the website or sender’s email address to be slightly different from the official “[email protected]” domain name. Most importantly, Raymond does not solicit money or banking information from job applicants for any reason.

If you believe you may have received a fraudulent offer of employment or recruitment offer, you may learn more about this increasingly common scam and report the incident on the Federal Trade Commission website: https://www.ftc.gov/faq/consumer-protection/submit-consumer-complaint-ftc .
