About the position:
The Customer Service & Collections Supervisor – Treasury is responsible for leading a team to provide exceptional customer service within our Corporate Treasury department. As a working leader, you will work side-by-side with your team to ensure assigned objectives and metrics are met, providing guidance and vision along the way.
Technical specifics –
- Monitors and maintains large customer accounts.
- Works with internal and external partners to gather the needed information for customer accounts.
- Researches and compiles payment data to reconcile customer accounts.
- Proactively identifies issues and provides solutions to address the root causes of discrepancies and/or problems with accounts.
- Monitors the status of outstanding receivables and reviews customer accounts to ensure that prompt payments are made, taking corrective action to resolve any issues that have interrupted customer payments.
- Works with counsel on bad debt accounts and other legal matters.
- Analyzes data to determine the correct action to take before proceeding with a payment plan for a possible bad debt account.
- Coordinates the repossession process from start to finish and works with dealerships to remarket equipment recovered from repossessions.
- Coordinates special projects and assignments with Treasury personnel and other departments.
- Establishes deadlines to ensure timely follow through.
- Prepares reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
Leadership specifics –
- Provides work direction to team members and assists in resolving problems.
- Responsible for performance management, providing regular coaching.
- Proactively addresses performance and/or people issues, as needed.
- Sets performance goals in support of the Company Hoshin.
- Develops the knowledge and skills of the team, ensuring cross-training.
- Promotes teamwork and a positive, inclusive environment.
About the schedule:
- This position is based in our Greene, NY office and may have a hybrid schedule upon completion of a training period.
About you:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Commercial loan knowledge, legal background/experience, and/or accounting knowledge are helpful.
- A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work successfully in an ever-changing environment.
About the total compensation package:
Salary - $60,400 - $77,400 per year. Compensation commensurate with selected candidate’s experience.
Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.
