About the position:
We’re looking for a Digital Solutions Architect to help us on our digital transformation journey.  The person in the role will be leading the charge and introducing the overall technical vision for our digital solutions.  They must recognize the corporate strategy and realize all business processes that define how a company achieves its strategic goals. As a result, the architect will constantly deal with analytical work and move between various business layers while balancing the needs of various technical projects. You will:

  • Assess and analyze systems architecture and technologies currently used within the company and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve them.
  • Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
  • Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology
  • Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT Systems architecture
  • Champions a structured approach to business application solutions
  • Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have, and propose and establish framework for necessary contributions from various departments
  • Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and assist in managing their proper execution
  • Account for possible project challenges on constraints including risks, time, resources, and scope
  • Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives throughout the solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation phases
  • Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions
  • Providing technical leadership to a team throughout the project lifecycle
  • Developing proof-of-concept projects to validate your proposed solutions
  • Performs additional related work as assigned

 About you:

  • A Master’s Degree is preferred
  • Twelve or more years of related work experience is required
  • Microsoft Azure experience preferred
  • AWS experience preferred

  • Experience formulating cohesive strategic architectures and solutions to enable business transformation
  • Strong organizational, project management and leadership skills are essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience developing IT and Cloud infrastructure
  • Broad understanding of information technology topics
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
  • Experience in software engineering and design architecture
  • Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level
  • Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills
  • Technically creative and open-minded

About the schedule:
This position is 1st shift and may be eligible for a hybrid schedule after orientation period. This position reports in office weekly in Greene, NY.

About the total compensation package:

Salary - Salary starting at $99100+ per year
Relocation -  This position may qualify for relocation.
