About the position:
Provides Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidance and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal EHS regulations. Key EHS point person training new hires and existing associates in safety training dojo and perform all NEO classroom EHS training material. The incumbent will become the subject matter expert, maintaining currency, compliance and conducting program audits for: Crane & Hoist, Fall Protection (including annual inspection), Ladder (including annual inspection), Fire Extinguishers (including hands-on), Lock Out Tag Out, and First Aid, CPR and AED.

Will assume the lead role with First Aid Volunteers and Crane & Hoist Evaluators. Is required to provide training support to multiple sites and/or multiple shifts. Will conduct risk assessments and work closely with other Safety ATLs. Designs, develops and delivers effective and timely training programs. Identifies and trains subject matter experts to evaluate Crane & Hoist Operators. Participates in and supports review of Safety Manual. Participates in and may chair the ATL and Supervisor level Safety Committees and/or EHS Committees for the organization. May perform program audits to ensure compliance with Company policy and related regulations (e.g. LOTO, Crane/Hoist, Fall Protection, Ladders, etc.). participates in STOP initiatives for site. Manage training recordkeeping, schedule training, and run class history reports, etc. in ADP LMS.

About the work environment:
Works in a factory setting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in accordance with Company policy. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained.

About you:

  • An Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Two or more years of related experience is required.
  • Completion of the OSHA 10 hour course is preferred, or completed within 30 days of assignment.

 

About the total compensation package:

Salary - Salaries starting at $21.41 per hour
