About the position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, programs, and promotions to ensure maximum product adoption for Raymond Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) and integrated Warehouse Technology Solutions. The candidate will also work across multiple disciplines to ensure that Raymond's complete offering and value proposition is promoted and articulated with clarity and precision to the industry and sales channels with a focus on Sustainability, ESS, and iWAREHOUSE technology. This high-visibility role will interact with all levels of Raymond leadership.

 

Works closely with product managers, Solutions and Support Centers, sales, and customers to build the messaging and product positioning for the target industry and applications.

 

Marketing it Right - Go to Market

  • Translates technical details and capabilities into engaging and compelling outcome-oriented product messaging and positioning.
  • Collaborates with product management to align product strategy, pricing, and roadmaps to the market needs.
  • Develops and executes a coherent product marketing strategy, such as sales tools, new product information, pricing, technical bulletins, sales promotions, customer information, and literature.
  • Plans and executes training programs for launch of new products and releases.
  • Manages the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan.
  • Works with customers to build case studies to support selling efforts.

 

Selling Effectively – Sales Enablement

  • Manages all ESS related Solutions and Support Centers-facing systems – works closely to obtain critical feedback necessary to ensure optimal ordering experience similar to battery industry expectations.
  • Partners with internal and external resources to build messaging and content, engaging our target audience.
  • Provides the core ideas for creating content and writes clear, compelling copy and value proposition for collateral and sales tools.
  • Plans and executes effective demand generation strategies.
  • Develops relevant sales and marketing sales tools.
  • Creates marketing campaigns for demand generation.
  • Helps sales and our Solutions and Support Centers understand and articulate product messaging and value proposition through sales enablement and asset development.
  • Identifies the product features to spotlight and empowers the sales team with clear outcome-based value propositions.
  • Helps promote products in the portfolio with speaking engagements, thought leadership, and social content.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Promotes our products through analyst relations, public relations, trade shows, webinars, customer meetings, and other customer-facing events.
  • Explains benefits of product features via customer-facing messaging and leads product demos and presentations.
  • Understands and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures related to marketing, general business, finance/analytical and product life-cycle management.

About the schedule:

  • Travel required up to 25% of the time, primarily domestic.
  • This position is based in our Greene, NY office and will have a hybrid schedule reporting in-office three days a week.

About you:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required (preferably in a business-related discipline).
  • 6+ years of broad experience in sales, product marketing, product management, product engineering, or an analytical role is required.
  • A master’s degree in a related field is preferred, as is experience in the material handling industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organization, as well as to influence and negotiate with others to resolve difficult problems that can affect long-term relationships with customers.
  • High level of attention to detail and analytical skills to understand and interpret complex data.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the forklift industry, IOT, or telematics experience is preferred.

 

About the total compensation package:
Salary - $91,000 - $138,000 per year. Compensation depends on selected candidates' qualifications. 
Relocation -  This position may qualify for relocation.
