Our Early History
Watch and listen as Steve Raymond, grandson of Raymond founder George Raymond Sr., gives a brief early history of how The Raymond Corporation came to be in the tiny Upstate New York village of Greene.
From the invention of the pallet, to filing the patent for the first narrow aisle electric truck, Steve gives good insight into what it took for Raymond to become a leader in the material handling industry.
+ Raymond is committed to building quality products while providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
+ From orientation on day one to ongoing talks and training, safety is instilled in our people, our processes, and our culture.
+ With a dedicated Safety Committee and active Health & Safety Program, we take a passionate and proactive approach to protecting our people.
