GREENE, N.Y., October 13, 2017 — The Raymond Corporation and its authorized Solutions and Support Center, Pengate Handling Systems, Inc., are donating a Raymond® Model 8210 walkie pallet truck to help support the growing needs of the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator.

The Koffman Southern Tier Incubator, located in Binghamton, New York, is a business and entrepreneurship incubator created to develop transformational and innovative products and ideas. In partnership with Binghamton University and State University of New York (SUNY) at Broome, this high-tech 35,000-square-foot building provides entrepreneurs with knowledge and resources to build a sustainable business by providing a co-working space, high-tech wet labs and dry labs, common areas and high-bay space.

“We will benefit greatly from the Raymond forklift truck donation, as this will directly support the Southern Tier of New York entrepreneurial ecosystem,” says Sheila Doyle, executive director of the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator. “Together, we are enhancing the entrepreneurship spirit and helping to drive the bright future and tremendous potential of our innovators of the future.”

The Raymond Model 8210 walkie pallet truck will enable the start-up businesses at the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator to unload raw materials and load finished products for transport. The facility has a covered dock, ground-level dock, 2,500-square-foot-high bay storage and a 20-by-30-foot low storage room.
